Description: This opportunity supports programs that enhance research on aging, with a focus on developing and sustaining progress in key aging research areas aligned with the mission of the Office of the Director, National Institute on Aging. The goal of the OAIC program is to establish centers of excellence in geriatrics research and research education to increase scientific knowledge leading to better ways to maintain or restore independence in older persons.
